2. Swollen Lymph Nodes
Swollen lymph glands are one of the early signs that there is something wrong with the body. If your lymph nodes start to swell, you may have an infection. Syphiliscauses swelling of the lymph nodes. If a person has syphilis, the lymph nodes in the groin region will swell. Some people also experience swelling of lymph nodes elsewhere on the body, such as the neck.
You should see a doctor immediately if your lymph nodes swell and you experience any other symptoms, including unexplained lesions. This is the first sign of syphilis and it can be treated easily if caught early. As not everyone develops sores, it is important to look for swollen nodes.
