How your favorite athletes have earned their way to the top

Michael Jordan – $2.2 Billion

Michael Jordan, the Hall of Fame basketballer who played for Chicago Bulls during most of his NBA playing career, is unlikely to be known by anyone. Michael Jordan won six NBA titles, was the face of countless products, and helped launch Air Jordans in partnership with Nike.

Jordan has retired for almost 20 years, but he is still a very active businessman. In 2020, Jordan became an advisor and investor for DraftKings. You won’t be surprised to learn that Jordan is currently worth $2.2 billion, according Celebrity Net Worth.

John Elway – $145 Million

John Elway hasn’t impressed us in football for over 20 years. Elway played in the NFL from 1983 to 1998, and his entire career was spent with the Denver Broncos. Elway has never won a Super Bowl, but he was named NFL MVP in 1997.

Elway, who retired as a Broncos player in 1998, is still the team’s president and general manger. Elway, 60, is a successful businessman who makes money from his car dealerships, steakhouses and Colorado Crush Arena Football team. This has led to a fortune of $145 million.
