The camping hacks can be more than simply learning to survive outdoors. They can also include learning to make the everyday items we use useful. All those corks you might have lying around are one of the items on this list. Who knew fishing and corks would go so well together?
To create a hook, cut a wire length slightly longer than the cork. Push it through the middle and then at the ends. The hook ends should be pushed into the cork so that they are buried and have no sharp edges. You now have a floating floater for the price of a few wires and a cork.
