Retirement
Brigitte retired from her career at the peak of it. She retired in 1973 when she was 39 years old. She had appeared in more than 40 films, had recorded several albums of music and danced and modeled since her early years. She then turned her attention to an issue she was passionate about: animal rights.
Today
Brigitte remains an animal rights activist to this day. She spends her days communicating with foreign heads of states, governments and others who are interested in the cause. She lives in a farmhouse with dogs, cats, goats and sheep.
