9. Muscle cramps and spasms

The cramping and spasming can be very painful. These spasms are uncontrollable, unpredictable and not something you can ignore.

Many people who exercise or are athletes will get cramps from not stretching out enough or being over-exercised. Many people suffer from this condition without any explanation. These cramps and spasms can cause you to wake up if they occur during the night. It may be hard to fall back asleep when this occurs. You may be feeling fatigued all the time if this is the case.

If you experience a spasm or muscle cramp, this could be an indication that your body is lacking in important nutrients. Muscle cramps are common when you don’t get enough magnesium. If you experience muscle cramps at night, talk to your doctor to determine the cause.
