There are many women who perform independent prostitution outside of the lady bars and go-gos.
You can find them in bars, clubs and on streets such as Beach Road, Pattaya, or Sukhumvit Road, Bangkok.
They are independent prostitutes who work independently and do not belong to a bar or pimp. This is the more common type of prostitution.
Tourists often encounter these women in clubs, but they don’t realize that the woman is working an angle until later on in the night when she asks for a fee to go home. It can be awkward and many freelancers are hesitant to ask, instead using words like “Can you pay?”
