What is a go-go bar?
The go-go bar (also known as a-gogo bar) is similar to a stripper.
The club features a dance floor with poles, which can accommodate 10-20 girls. The stage is elevated, and punters are seated around it.
The club’s back is usually a collection of sofas and tables. Depending on the budget, the club may be quite glitzy with a fancy bar and fancy lighting.
In between dances, you’ll find a lot girls in go-go bars. Some girls may not dance and instead work the floor – sitting at tables or approaching customers to get a few “lady beverages”.
You should avoid getting in a situation at this type of bar where you have several girls sitting at your table. You may find yourself spending a lot of money on drinks and food for your friends before you realize it.
On negotiation, you can usually take the girls dancing at go-go bars home. You will likely be charged a bar fee, just like you would at a “bar girl” club.
