In 2012, Anderson Cooper conducted a rather awkward interview with Sarah Burge. She is also known as “Human Barbie” and was infamous for having spent hundreds of thousands of pounds on plastic surgery — more like $800,000.000 at that time — in order to look like the popular doll.
Cooper was frustrated by Burge’s evasive and defensive answers. He ended the interview early and called her “dreadful.” Burge attempted to defend herself after the interview but the damage had already been done. Cooper’s bold decision has become a classic Cooper mistake.
