Erin Conrad, an anchor for ABC Texoma, made a comment during a report that shocked and then brought her co-anchors to tears. Conrad thought she saw herself on screen right before going live. She then said, “I am so pale.”
Conrad’s comments were seen by viewers in the home as they happened. Cathy Evans Corbett, the co-anchor, was awkwardly silent after Conrad’s comment. Corbett was then able to continue and move on. The hesitation was short-lived, but it was still noticeable.
