Lisa Robinson, who was reporting live from Maryland State Fairgrounds at the time, was getting ready to hand over the studio. Robinson was ready to go, but for one small thing. She accidentally spoke into the turkey leg instead of her mic.
The newsroom laughed at her mishap, and it quickly spread on the internet. Robinson laughed off the incident, even though it was embarrassing at the time. She continued to report on State Fair. She took a bit of the Turkey leg just for fun.
