29. Peaches Stickyfingers? Reporter Confuses Christmas Elf name

When anchors introduced Calgary reporter Leslie Horton in a live holiday segment, they announced her as her Christmas Elf Name “Peaches Cookiefingers”, to which Horton responded, “Is this my stripper’s name?”. The slip-up caused Horton to misspell the name “Peaches Stickyfingers” and laughter ensued.

It quickly became viral. Many viewers found it funny to see the anchors and field reporter of the station laughing and not being able to form complete sentences. All of them eventually composed themselves and finished their holiday stories.
