Fox & Friends First made a mistake when they booked the wrong interviewee for a live television show. The hosts of the show were expecting to interview a candidate for Congress from Arizona. They ended up talking to Massachusetts state senator Barbara L’Italien instead.
L’Italien, a Democratic candidate for Congress, used the opportunity to criticize President Trump’s immigration policies and voice her opposition to ICE. The hosts realized that the interview was a mistake but allowed it to continue. The producers blacked out L’Italien’s microphone, and the hosts moved on immediately.
