A news anchor made a mistake during a live broadcast of a news program. She mistook the murder suspect for a hamster. The anchor accidentally flashed a picture of a hamster in place of the real suspect.
Rodney Stanger was in prison in Florida in connection with the murder of 16-year old girl. She quickly corrected the mistake, but not before viewers laughed and were confused by it. The report made them a bit more afraid of hamsters.
