Matt Johnson, a reporter from the International Boat Show, in San Diego, California was nearly knocked over by “friend John,” a man strapped onto a jet pack powered by water.
John attempted to launch his jet pack in order to get the broadcast off to a good start. However, he ended fizzling out after nearly knocking Johnson over the pier. One reporter was seen burying his face in his hands. The reaction in the studio, however, was laughter. John eventually re-emerged on the jetpack, showing how high he was able to go without accidentally submerging himself.
