You know that something crazy happened when you hear the phrase “hot microphone incident”. Ken Rosato was fired “immediately,” after he made an offensive remark over a microphone that he did not know was turned on.
He was fired quickly, even though he had not been on air at the time. Rosato’s words are not important, but they were a derogatory term that certainly required immediate firing.
