The Earth is like an oil painting
The crew was initially unsure of what they were looking at. The swirls made it look like Van Gogh’s Starry Night. Others thought it was foamy soapy water. It turns out that this is the Iranian Desert, which appears like this when sunlight reflects off the vast area covered in stone, sand, and almost no vegetation.
