Visitors to New York City should not miss the opportunity to view the Statue of Liberty.
The French sculptor Frederic Bartholdi designed this famous Landmark in the United States as a gift to the United States.
You can use the Staten Island Ferry for FREE to see the Statue of Liberty. However, if you want to go to Ellis Island, you must purchase a ticket that includes transportation in advance.
You can see in the Ellis Island Museum the original torch Bartholdi built (it was damaged and had to be replaced).
