Checking the boat
Jack inspected the boat on the dock but found nothing interesting. In the boat, there were only a few ropes, some paddles and a wooden box.
He felt a sudden urge to act, but he first had to ask for his friends to be on guard and to alert him if they spotted anyone else in the vicinity.
