7. Johnny Sings
As he drove, he set the volume of the radio to low. It was loud enough for him to hear Johnny Cash, on WPXM 5, but quiet enough for him not hear the outside noise. Grady was driving and tapped his finger to “Don’t take Your Guns to town.”
He saw Pastor Michaels in the front of the church as he drove along streets with many trees.
He stared up at the skies with a confused look on his face.
8. Pastor Michaels Says Hello
Grady pulled his Vic to the side Main Street, even though he knew he needed to be at Marianne’s Clinic to meet Jacob and this mystery stranger. The white church glowed in the sunlight, and even the cross on top seemed to glow.
Grady asked, “How are you doing, Pastor?”
Pastor Ron Michaels appeared to be startled. His gray hairline was darkened by a bead on his forehead. “Alright. “Just wondering when this storm is going to hit.”
