How to Lower Your Resting Heart rate

Reduce Stress

A person should measure their resting pulse rate after they have woken up. If they are experiencing a lot of anxiety and stress, this can continue to affect their heart rate. They may even notice it before the day is over. Individuals should therefore reduce stress wherever they can. If you feel like there are not enough hours in the day and that you have too many tasks to complete, it may be worth looking into delegating some of them. You can also ask for an extension if you are able to do so at school or work.

If you find it difficult to manage your household, try setting realistic expectations. It is important to make time for hobbies and passions as they can be a natural stress reliever. Yoga or meditation can also be incorporated into the daily routine of many people. Before work, a mindfulness meditation can help a person get in touch their body, reduce stress and prepare for the day.
