Healthy Foods Before Bed

We need to first determine if eating before bed is good or bad. We are usually on the move all day, and then after work we go to the gym, chill out with our friends, or indulge in our hobbies. We often arrive home tired and hungry after a long day. It’s not ideal to eat late at night, but our hectic lifestyles sometimes make it impossible for us to avoid doing so.

Studies are divided on the subject of whether eating before going to bed increases your metabolism, or if it makes you gain weight. There is some confusion about this issue, but Amy Shapiro and Summer Sanders, both raw food chefs and authors of Raw & Radiant and Amy Shapiro a nutritionist, founder of Raw Nutrition, say that It’s more important to consider what you eat than when. According to some, eating a large dinner before bedtime can cause weight gain as well as negatively impact your cardiovascular health.
